United By The Road!
An 18 year old German who lives in the middle of nowhere wants to find out what the world’s all about. Need a lift?
1) Why did you participate in this campaign?
I've always wanted to do something unusual, something that breaks out of my daily grind. When I heard of the "Live Every Litre" campaign, I thought to myself: "That's my chance!" I liked the idea of this campaign from the very beginning and for there was nothing to lose, I gave it a try and participated.
2) Why did you pick your particular story?
The main concept of my story is to connect the journey itself ( meaning for example the impressions of different landscapes etc.) with a human aspect. I'm sure that every single human being has a story to tell which is worth listening to it. Talking to all kinds of people from all over Europe and chatting about anything and everything seems very exciting to me, because maybe one can discover that there aren't so many differences between the problems, wishes or hopes of people of different countries.
So basically I want to feel connected to people from everywhere and try to experience something like the "European spirit".
3) What was the worst journey you ever did?
If there ever was a bad journey, I've blocked it out. ;)
No, seriously: Every journey I've been to so far had its good and bad moments and in general I enjoy every chance of travelling that I get.
4) What is the most important thing that needs to come with you on a journey?
Depends on what kind of journey it is. If it's a vacation trip, I definitely need books, because I love to read and I always have more time for it when I'm away from home and my duties.
If it's an adventure trip, I guess you need a person you can trust and who can help you in difficult situations. However, I've never been on an adventure trip yet, so maybe there are more important things which don't come to my mind now.
5) If you could take any person to come with you on a road trip who would you take and why?
It would be someone I can rely on and have fun with, for instance my girlfriend or a good friend of mine.
6) If the online community were to participate in your story what elements
could they influence (for example costume, location, etc)?
First of all they could propose cities on my route through which I should drive. Furthermore they could suggest topics I can talk about with my front-seat passengers. Of course I'm also open to any other kind of suggestions!
A good laugh
An 18-year-old student with a vision: Hittin' the streets to unite the stories of people from all over Europe in his car! I will stop somewhere and ask people to accompany me for as long as they want. Maybe one will stay in my car up to the next street corner, maybe the next one will stay with me for 100 kilometres! It's up to the people. During the ride, we will talk about everything and anything! Jolly things, touching things, worldshaking things - it's a trip to get to know the spirit of the Europeans, their worries and hopes. Be assured that this will be the most amusing trip ever! Join me!

Looks a beautiful day. London is awfully grey.

I think should get more than one person in the car at the same time from two places that don't like each other i.e Germans and the Dutch, English and the French etc.
